Optimise systems established itself in 2004 when the then directors took control of the software in a management buyout, however the core members go back to the 1980s working for Stewart Computer Systems when our Prodigy was then known as C-Nix. When the company was taken over in the 90s by Weir Systems, the C-Nix brand became Prodigy and has stayed as such to this date.
